Effective routine sampling is an essential part of a well-balanced enforcement service and should therefore feature in the work programme of all Food Authorities. This video has been produced as part of the Agency’s programme of low-cost training for enforcement officers.
The video covers the principles of sampling for analysis/examination of food and can be used along with other appropriate guidance which has been produced by both the Agency and LACORS e.g. Food Standards and Feeding Stuffs Sampling, Practical Guidance for Enforcement Officers, Guidance on Food Sampling for Microbiological Examination.
